Angry Birds Theme Park Opens in China [VIDEO]
Quick — raise your hand if you are addicted to everyone's favorite mobile time-waster (either this or Words With Friends) Angry Birds. Yeah, just like I suspected — a sea of hands. So if there were an actual, real life theme park dedicated to the electronic phenomenon, would that be something you might be interested in? Yeah, I thought so.
Well today may just be your lucky day, if you have any ties to China that is, as there has been a theme park (so to speak) dedicated to Angry Birds, built overseas. The attraction allows you to catapult actual birds (not real, unfortunately) at targeted pigs, throughout the property. Pretty sweet gig, huh?
The only problem, however, is that the unlicensed attraction is rumored to now be undergoing a lawsuit from the actual Angry Birds creators (makes sense). This coming just after the park went to Disney in hopes of them buying the rights to the property. Cheaters (and thiefs) never win, right kids?
The park is still intact, so if you have any plans of hitting China up in the near future, we suggest you make this a must-see on your itinerary.
Somehow, though, this all just makes the mobile game a little less interesting. My apologies.
