Your Guide to Celebrating a Halloween to Remember in Las Vegas
It’s that time of the year again, Halloween - when the dead rise up from their graves and evil spirits come out to play, and in Vegas the sin is dealt out threefold. This is my favorite holiday and I celebrate it like no other. So, I thought I would put together a list of some of the best Halloween parties and events that Las Vegas has to offer for every personality and budget.
First, is the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball at the Hard Rock Hotel on October 31st. I listed this party first because not only is it one of the best parties in the world, according to the Travel Channel, it is also the most expensive. I do recommend attending the Halloween Ball at least once; it is well worth the $98.00 it costs to get in.
Second, is Night of the Killer Costumes, at The Palms, also on October 31st. This is a Halloween party and costume contest rolled up into one event. Night of the Killer Costumes is modeled after the Fetish & Fantasy Ball and spans all three nightclubs at The Palms. But, this party is where you want to be if you have a killer costume and want to try to win your share of over $100,000 in cash and prizes. And, its only $34.00 a person to attend. This is defiantly one of the most modestly priced Halloween parties at an upscale nightclub.
Now, for those of you who enjoy Halloween but, just want to chill out, drink beer, and listen to some good (Halloween themed) music, then check out OktoberFrightFest on Fremont Street. From now till October 31st downtown has been transformed into a haunted playground suitable for all ages. There are free nightly shows including Frank and the Steins, Freakin Magic Horror Hospital, and Alice and Ozzy’s Nightmare. And just for fun, there are tons of costume clad entertainers who are more than willing to take pictures with you, for a small tip of course. But best of all, this event is free and fun for the whole family.
Last, but certainly not least, I must mention the Fright Dome at Circus Circus. This is another great Halloween event for those who just want to have fun without going to a crowded nightclub. Fright dome has 5 haunted houses, 23 rides and attractions, freak shows, scare zones, and an all new Saw attraction. Now, from what I understand the Saw attraction is interactive, which means you will be involved in the action. This sounds like a truly frightful experience to me at only $34.00.
So, whatever you decide to do for Halloween this year just remember to have the night of your life and please, be Safe.
