Wasted Space Las Vegas to Relocate to OFF Strip Property [UPDATE]
As reported on August 9th, 2010 by The Las Vegas Sun, The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is closing its Wasted Space nightclub after two years of operation, a Hard Rock spokeswoman said today.
[UPDATE] - Just reported to The Daily Scene late yesterday, inside sources tell us that Cary Hart has agreed to move the nightlife and concert venue to an OFF Strip property up off of the 215 beltway and Flamingo rd. The celebrity motocross rider Cary Hart will be taking over the old Sapporo location that closed down months ago due to the slow economy.
Branded as Hard Rock’s “anti-club,” Wasted Space opened in July 2008 with the idea of a looser dress code than other nightclubs in town and a place for performers to play more intimate shows. The 5,000-square-foot club holds between 400 and 500 people. the new location they will be relocating to 9719 W Flamingo Road Las Vegas, NV 89147.
