Nic Cage Violated By Nude Man Eating A Fudgesicle

TORONTO, Canada – Nicolas Cage brought his personal experience in violation to his role in the upcoming film Trespass.  Cage confessed this horrifying episode to a press panel for the film at the Toronto Film Festival.

“I was asleep with my wife, my two-year-old at the time was in another room…And I opened my eyes and there was a naked man in my leather jacket eating a Fudgesicle in front of my bed,” said Cage.

The bizarre incident shook Cage but he appears to have a sense of humor about it.  “It sounds funny but it was horrifying,” Cage said.  He shouted at the stranger “What are you doing in my house?  Get out of my house!”

Cage eventually talked the man out of his bathroom and police arrived and took the man into custody and then to a mental health facility.  “I didn’t press charges because I realized he wasn’t all there.”

Let it be said that Nicolas Cage is a man of mercy, he didn’t engage the intruder in any action movie-style violence; the entire incident was handled with words.  “The cops said to me, if he had broken into ant other house in this neighborhood he’d have been shot…but I’m always going to try and talk you out of violence if I can.”

Trespass is an upcoming psychological thriller from director Joel Schumacher and starring Cage and Nicole Kidman.  Cage starred in Schumacher’s 8mm and Kidman in his Batman Forever.  In Trespass Cage and Kidman play a couple that is victims of a home invasion.
