N.C. Man Busted For Calling 911 For Hookers
LEXINGTON, N.C. --- The sheer stupidity award goes to 42-year-old Lonnie Michael Felts of Lexington, N.C., who was arrested for calling 911 to request a hooker, not once but three times.
According to the police report obtained by the Lexington Dispatch, the first time he called, Felts requested “a hooker and an escort to get boots.” Officers paid Felts a visit and warned him about calling 911 for sex.
Felts, who was engrossed in drugs and alcohol paid no heed to the warning and called two more times requesting the company of the loose ladies.
On his second call, Felts asked for the phone number to the county jail. He was again warned not to use 911 for non-emergency calls.
By the third call, the cops had enough of Felts’ freaky calls for love and escorted him to jail. Where we can assume his sudden fetish for hookers, and jail were vividly realized.
Police charged Felts with accessing the 911 system for the purpose other than an emergency communication.
Felts was given a $2,000 secured bond and has an April 20 court date. Misuse of the 911 system is a misdemeanor.
On a side note, one can only speculate how Felts obtained the black eye displayed in his mugshot. No information was available in the reports about the shiner perhaps he met a hooker in jail named T-Bone.
