More Ideas for Halloween Costumes [LIST]
It’s almost Halloween - So, What are you Going to Wear?
With Halloween fast approaching, you naturally will want to be appropriately attired for the holiday. So, what are you going to wear to that's fashionable Halloween party? If you are still in a quandary as to how you want to transform yourself, consider a theme for your costume first.
Some Suggestions for Costumes
Do you want to go in attire that is frightening, or do you want your apparel to be more humorous? Pirates are favorite choices as are TV and movie heroes. For example, find a costume and go as Princess Leia from Star Wars or show up at a Halloween bash as Batgirl or Batman. Or, maybe you’d like to wear more of a medieval look (a knight in shining armor perhaps?) or sport more spectral attire. A ghostly bride dressed in Victorian clothing and draped in cobwebs might be a good look for you. Mobsters from the decades of the 20s and 30s are popular choices too. Or, become a celebrity for the evening – choose to go as Lady Gaga, Charlie Sheen, Katy Perry, or step back in time and go as Marilyn Monroe.
Looks that Define Halloween
Then, of course, what would Halloween be without zombies or vampires? Create your own special zombie or vampire look and you will be a Halloween sensation.
Check out the Clothes in your Closet
If you can’t get a costume in time for the party, then reach into your own closet and find something to wear. For example, maybe you could go as a biker. Wear a white tee with black leather, sunglasses and a bandana. Or, perhaps you could choose a cowboy or cowgirl costume. Look the part of an old-time Western star decked out in cowboy boots and hat, plaid shirt and blue jeans.
Halloween Costumes for Pets
Of course, your pet should be fashionably attired as well, so you will have to consider the clothing choices available for your cat or dog. For instance, dress your Dalmatian as a fireman or maybe pick a pink, medieval princess costume for your poodle.
Narrow Down your Choices
Needless to say, you have a lot of options when it comes to dressing for Halloween, so to get a better idea of what you are going to wear, narrow down your choices by picking a category—scary, pirates, celebrity, humorous, or TV and movie heroes—before making a selection. But, you will have to do it soon because Halloween is just around that ominous and eerie corner.
