Hello Kitty Wine Makes its Debut in Las Vegas
Okay, let's admit it, we as grown women love Hello Kitty more than ever. You can find this iconic cat on our purses, our wallets, our jewelry and even permanently idolized on our skin. And believe it or not I recently found her cute little face on two of the most unlikely products, contact lenses and vibrators. Yes, vibrators. Needless to say Hello Kitty is all grown up, so it’s only fitting she have her own luxury wines.
Hello Kitty wine made its debut here in Vegas on Monday at the 2010 Nightclub & Bar Convention at The Las Vegas Convention Center. The wines are made by the family owned Torti-Tenimenti Castelrotto in Lombardy, Italy and luxury goods company Camomilla. They come in four different varieties and all are 100% Pinot Noir. They include a red wine called Devil, a white wine called Angel, and two spumates: a brut rose and a demi-sec appropriately named Sweet Pink. Each bottle carries the Hello Kitty logo and a neck pendent.
There is only one store here in Vegas that exclusively sell Hello Kitty products, Sanrio. Sanrio is located in Town Square. Unfortunately for now, to purchase the wines for you’re at home enjoyment you must buy them online. It is, however, going to be available at the nightclubs here in Vegas and also through companies that specialize in bachelorette parties.
So ladies, next time you and your girls hit up your favorite Las Vegas night club ask for a bottle of Hello Kitty wine and enjoy your favorite childhood character all grown up.
