Kid Cudi Removed From Tour But Rocks Las Vegas Anyway

As you may or may not have heard, rapper Kid Cudi was removed from Lady Gaga’s “Monster Ball” tour after being involved in concert-related drama (allegedly punching a fan). Regardless of what may or may not have happened, although Cudi was not performing with Lady Gaga for her Thursday / Friday night shows at The Palms, he did end up performing at LAVO Las Vegas on Friday night.

After getting up on the catwalk in the middle of a packed crowd, Cudi claimed that everyone there was “witnessing the rebirth of Cudi right now in Vegas.” He performed “Pursuit of Happiness” and “Day n Nite” while the crowd chanted his name. Since he was removed from the Monster Ball tour, he was replaced by Semi Precious Weapons, a rock band who is now Lady Gaga’s opening act.
