Is the NFL All Talk and No Action?
Everybody knows the story: NFL superstar texts pictures of his "junk" to hot young sports journalist/playboy model and gets caught. But, sometimes things are just not what they seem. Or, are they?
Today, the NFL passed their judgment on the situation giving Brett Farve what some are saying is a "slap on the wrist". The NFL has fined Farve $50,000 for "failing to cooperate" with the league's investigation. Commissioner Roger Goodell said he "could not conclude if Farve violated the leagues conduct policy based on the evidence he has seen". And so the went on to say in a statement released by the NFL that, "The forensic analysis could not establish that Farve sent the objective photographs to Sterger."
In a statement released by Jenn Sterger's lawyer saying, "While I am not privy to how Mr. Goodell reached such a finding, we strongly disagree with his conclusion that there was insufficient evidence to support a violation of the policy." So clearly this try at blackmail and extortion did not pan out the way Sterger had planned but she is young and beautiful and has the goods to give it another try on another sports star. Maybe this time she can try her hand at the NBA.
Now, I'm not saying what Brett Farve did was okay by any means, he obviously had a relationship of some kind with this woman and he is married so he basically cheated on his wife and family, but he did admit his guilt. But, this was a big set up and was planned from the very beginning. She has had her five minutes and now its time to move on and forget about Jenn Sterger. I think the ruling was pretty fair and I don't think she deserved any money. And that's that!
