Ice-T And Coco Break Into Mystery Novels

Rapper and Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit star Ice-T and his wife Nicole “Coco” Marrow are an industry unto themselves.  Following a career in rap and then metal music Ice-T branched out into acting with a breakout role in 1991’s New Jack City.  Then of course there was his legendary role as Odafin “Fin” Tutuola.  Then began the era of Ice-T on reality TV. First there was Ice-T’s reality show Ice-T’s Rap School in 2006, which was followed by in 2011 by Ice Loves Coco.

Coco has her own business ventures including a lucrative modeling career, a clothing line and merchandise including DVDs and calendars.

Now the couple has ventured into new territory with a series of novels.

Coco’s novel Angel concerns a mysterious shape shifting mega-babe who can read the minds of men and transform herself into the woman of their dreams.  Eventually the woman, known as “the angel of the Hudson,” must track down a vicious killer.

Ice-T’s novel, entitled Kings of Vice, is a story of crime and gang violence in New York City.

Here is a review of Angel:

“A riveting blend of suspense and mystery. This shape-shifter thriller will make you look at everyone twice!”
--L.A. Banks New York Times bestselling author

And here is a review of Kings of Vice:

“After twenty years a man walks out of prison and into as vivid and powerful a story as I have read in a long, long time. From the first sentence, you know that this is the real thing. The writer understands crime and desperation and anger, and the secret places in the heart that hide behind the violence. What an extraordinary ride!”
--Whitley Strieber, New York Times bestselling author of Hybrids
