Hard Rock Unveiled The Joint With Las Vegas Mayor Ribbon Cutting
It’s official ladies and gentleman – the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas just unveiled “The New Joint” this evening at 4:00pm with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
It’s been a long time coming – but recording artist and resident headliner Carlos Santana as well as Randy Kwasnieksi, the President of Morgan’s Hotel Group and President and COO of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino were there together, joined by Oscar Goodman, the Mayor of Las Vegas, for the special event.
“We’ve had some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry perform at our hotel over the past decade including The Rolling Stones, Metallica and Foo Fighters,” said Randy Kwasniewski, President and COO of Morgans Hotel Group Las Vegas and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “The new Joint allows us to take the live music scene in Vegas to the next level by giving artists and bands the opportunity to perform in front of sold out crowds inside one of most sophisticated and authentic concert venues in the country.”

It’s finally complete! The New Joint features a cutting-edge sound and lighting system and offers seven luxury suites. The furthest seat from in the house is only 155 feet away from the stage, making every seat, “the best seat in the house.” This venue event includes a WiFi access with a full blogging station for people like us here at MyVegasScene.com to bring you LIVE information. Congratulations to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for completing the New Joint. This week – they celebrate the opening the opening of their concert venue with performances by Paul McCartney, The Killers and Avenged Sevenfold – topped off by a Sunday performance at REHAB by Snoop Dogg and the opening of Hart & Hunnington Tattoo. What a line-up.
