Grand Opening of Steak n Shake at South Point Las Vegas

South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas opened the first Steak 'n Shake restaurant west of Texas on Thursday, December 16th at 11:00 am. The opening of this new Las Vegas dining establishment will feature a celebratory ribbon cutting by Sardar Biglari, Chairman and CEO of Biglari Holdings, owner of Steak 'n Shake, Las Vegas iconic mayor Oscar Goodman and South Point owner Michael Gaughan.

Mr. Biglari commented, "The opening of Steak 'n Shake in Las Vegas is a historic milestone because, after 76 years, we are expanding into a western state and an urban area, which epitomizes action and excitement. We are delighted to showcase the new, updated Steak 'n Shake inside the bustling South Point.  Patrons will welcome this location as the restaurant exhibits an unusually lively, brighter, and highly visible open grill and milkshake fountain, features which date back to the nostalgia-generating and enlightening Steak 'n Shake tagline, 'In Sight It Must be Right.'" Biglari added, "All upgrades were installed with the intention of enhancing the guests' experience and are consistent with the high repute of the time-honored brand. Guests will love the aesthetics, burgers and shakes."
