German Police Stop Drunken Yoda

BERLIN, Germany ~ (NewsCore/ AFP) ~ German police who stopped a motorist after a minor traffic accident were astounded to find Jedi master Yoda from 'Star Wars' behind the wheel.

In the early hours of Sunday, October 30th an unidentified 42-year-old male driver, decked out in full Yoda costume, had a minor collision with a pedestrian and then drove away, only to be stopped by a police vehicle two minutes later. The pedestrian was left with only minor injuries and the green-masked Jedi master had no mind trick to use on the cops.

According to a statement from Darmstadt, a city near Frankfurt, "the officers were especially surprised to see ... Grand Master Yoda at the wheel." It appears that the partying Yoda had enjoyed the evening's festivities a little too much to be driving and authorities took him to the local police station, confiscated his driving license and took a blood sample. "The hapless Jedi returned home on foot," the police report read, adding, "in this case, the Force was not with him."
