Fremont Street Celebrates The Summer of the 70’s
Fremont Street is the perfect answer for anyone looking for the Vegas experience on a budget. Not only are the drinks cheap and the entertainment free, but this street is the most historical street in Las Vegas. Did you know that it is the home of Vegas’ very first hotel built in 1906?
Fremont Street is one of our biggest tourist attractions, attracting more than 20 million people a year. But is still very local friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back and you never have to fuss with the large crowds found on the strip.
Now through September 4th, downtown is celebrating the music of the 1970’s with “Summer of the 70’s”. Viva Visions featuring 70’s inspired themes such as Elvis, Kiss, and a special virtual firework show on the 4th of July will be playing on the world’s largest LCD screen every night starting at 8:30 pm – midnight.
And don’t forget the free concerts every weekend on the main stage, this weekend Little River Band and ACDC tribute band, Highway to Hell, will rock the 4th of July celebration. All shows start at 9:00pm. For all concerts and dates go to www.vegasexperience.com.
