Former KISS Guitarist Vinnie Vincent Arrested on Assault Charges
MUFREESBORO, Tenn. –“Love tap” –Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Cusano --aka Vinnie Vincent was arrested Saturday at his Tennessee home after his wife told Authorities that the musician had smacked her in the face and dragged her through a pile of broken glass.
Vincent, 58, was charged with aggravated assault and was booked into the Rutherford County jail Saturday in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
Rutherford County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that Vincent’s wife Diane arrived at the Sheriff’s Office “covered in blood” and reeking of alcohol.
Diane, 44, told Sheriff’s deputies that Vincent had “smacked her in the face,” following an argument about a female subject [Vincent] was talking to. She also claims Vincent threw her to the ground and dragged her through a pile of broken glass that been on the floor since the argument started.
Cusano told authorities that every time she tried to leave, Vincent would throw her back to the ground.
According to TMZ, when officers arrived at the home they found Vincent and “four sealed containers which contained the remains of four dead dogs.” Cusano told police that the dogs were “killed by one of their aggressive dogs.”
Animal services, who were contacted by deputies, said they are currently investigating the dead dog situation.
Booking records from the detention center show Cusano was booked into the jail at 11:33 p.m. Saturday. He was released at 11:27 a.m. Sunday after posting $10,000 bail.
Cusano was lead guitarist for the rock band KISS between 1982 and 1984 and replaced original band member Ace Frehley.
