Club Tattoo Las Vegas Features Steve Wyrick Performing Death Drop
This 4th of July Club Tattoo is celebrating its grand opening in true "Sin City" fashion with Daredevil Magician Steve Wyrick performing a terrifying "Death Drop" escape. Club Tattoo inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is the newest tattoo parlor in Las Vegas. Linkin Park front man Chester Bennington, co-owner of Club Tattoo, opened the new location on March 5, 2009.
The death defying performance will take place at the Miracle Mile Shops’ southern Las Vegas Boulevard entrance, by Hawaiian Tropic Zone beginning at 8:30 pm. Chester Bennington, along with members of his new side project Dead By Sunrise, will shackle Wyrick and help place him inside one of the band's equipment boxes. The box will then be raised 80 feet into the air above a bed of 500 flaming spikes. The ropes the box will be dangling from will then be set ablaze, forcing the magician to make his escape before the ropes brake and the box plunges towards the flaming spikes which would almost certainly kill him.
Their is a full schedule for the 4th of July celebration beginning at 2:00 pm at Club Tatto with an autograph session featuring Chester and the members of Dead By Sunrise. The Death Drop stunt will take place later at 8:30 pm. At 10:30 pm the party moves to the Steve Wyrick Theater for a special acoustic performance by Dead By Sunrise. Closing out the night will be the after party from 11:30 pm til 4:00 am at Prive Nightclub, which is also located inside Planet Hollywood.
