CES Las Vegas 2010 To Be Largest Consumer Technology Tradeshow
With a record number of more than 330 companies this year, you can expect more than 2,500 exhibitors at the Consumer Electronic Show here in Las Vegas this week, making it the world’s largest consumer technology trade show.
There will be more than 20,000 new products on display including applications, green technology, gaming, location based services and more. Starting Thursday, January 7th through Sunday the 10th, “the 2010 International CES wil be our best show yet,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA. “More technology deals will be made during the four days of CES than anywhere else on earth. In fact, each CES attendee has an average of 12 meetings while at the show, reinforcing CES as the business hub for technology. Innovation is flourishing within the technology industry and the 2010 CES is the only place to see it all.”
Each year CES features “TechZones” which are market specific – highlighting trends in up and coming markets. The techzones this year are to include eBooks, Experience 3D, Femto, Lifestyle Gadgets, Mobile DTV, Netbooks and Safe Drivers. Geeks – eat your heart out.
