Before Her Fame Lady Gaga Got Tattoo From Kat Von D [VIDEO]

LOS ANGELES, California ~ Before Lady Gaga went onto become a pop culture phenomenon she was just Stefano Joanne Angelina Germanotta.  In 2008, just before her debut album hit stores she was just another lower back tattoo to Kat Von D at LA Ink.

Newly discovered footage shows Gaga receiving a tattoo of roses on her lower back.  Gaga is poised to be famous, attired in a tiny top, electric blue spandex pants, over-sized sunglasses and a long, blonde wig.

Kat Von D’s LA Ink had just begun the previous year and she engaged the then unknown singer with some conversation.  Some the most interesting questions are as follows:

Kat Von D followed a complement on Gaga’s pants with the question “are you working on anything cool and interesting?”  Gaga responds, “I’m a singer and a songwriter for other artists.  I worked with New Kids On The Block last night, it was rad.”

Gaga also chatted about her New York family saying, “I have an Italian family.  They still live there.  I go home and have meatballs.”  Kat Von D responds with “Do they like your tattoos?”  Gaga admits, “When I got the first one, they had a heart attack.”

If Gaga’s folks had a heart attack following some tattoos one has to wonder what they did when she wore a dress made totally out of meat.

Gaga left happy with her tattoo of roses and stems.  “This looks great, I love it,” said Gaga.  She told Von D, “It’s really elegant.  The lines are perfect and the designs.  Your tattoos are beautiful.”
