Fifth Annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run Tomorrow
Tomorrow, December 5th, at Town Square Las Vegas, Opportunity Village will attempt to break the world record for the largest Santa Gathering with the “Las Vegas Great Santa Run.”
It all goes down tomorrow, Saturday December 5th at 10am in front of Borders inside of Town Square Las Vegas. In attendance you will se Mayor Oscar Goodman (head Santa and Honorary Chairman), as well as NASCAR champion Kurt Busch, Senator John Ensign, Robin Leach, Zowie Bowie and more.
Check in starts at 8am while the great run begins at 10:00am. For a little background, the world record was originally set in 2007 with 12,965 participants in Derry Ireland. That same year, Las Vegas had 8,000 participants – its best effort yet. Think we can beat it tomorrow? It’s upto us! So head over to Town Square Las Vegas tomorrow at 8am to register and participate in history in the making! In doing so, you’re contributing to an organization that assists those with intellectual disabilities to help improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. Opportunity Village is one of the biggest private providers of vocational training, employment and recreation for people with disabilities here in Nevada.
