A&E Cancels the Hoff
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- Stick a fork in it, its done -- A&E, in an act of mercy, killed David Hasselhoffs new reality series, The Hasselhoffs after only two episodes.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the show was pulled from the cable networks lineup after two episodes because of piss poor ratings, (our words.)
The doomed reality series depicted the life of the 58-year-old single David Hasselhoff and his aspiring actress daughters, Taylor Ann, 20 and Hayley, 18. Perhaps the show failed because the concept was extremely bland, one dimensional and only served to placate Hoffs enormous ego.
A&E ordered ten episodes. However, it remains unclear if the other eight episode will air anywhere besides the Hoffs bathroom.
Hasselhoff gained notoriety for his presence on TV's "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch, and more importantly during a drunken home video that showed a sloppy Hoff eating a hamburger on the floor while giving the American public a vile glimpse at the man behind the Hoff.
